BetaWatch Press Release

ßetaWatch Strengthens Team

Toronto, CANADA November 1, 2003 – ßetaWatch Inc., a provider of technology audit solutions, strengthens Audit Team with Appointment of Systems and People Veteran - Nora Bencsics.

In addressing the perceived inadequacies in existing laws, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, signed into law by President Bush in the summer of 2002, has led to huge reforms that affect corporate governance, auditing and disclosure and carry implications for every CFO, CEO, COO, controller and board member in corporate America. The goal of the Act is to protect investors and bolster public, and investor, confidence in the wake of bankruptcies and scandals.

According to ßetaWatch founder Temi Grafstein, "Even enterprises that don't have to file in June 2004, are keen to safeguard assets, and ensure that all transactions are authorized, recorded, and reported."

ßetaWatch's clients get a solid grounding in the fundamentals of reporting, then collaboratively determine accountability implications, process redesign, tracking and reporting. We are very familiar with the methodology approved by Sarbanes-Oxley; COSO Internal Controls -- Integrated Framework: it provides assurance regarding the achievement of effectiveness and efficiency of operations and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

It is a challenge for many owners and managers to keep up with the stringency expected by stakeholders and the feds while maintaining a focus on the day-to-day challenges of doing their job. To let you get to know us better, ßetaWatch has launched a biweekly electronic note to help you follow the principles and enact the digital due diligence™ aspect of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002, section 404.
